X-LOCK medium-hard backing pads are ideal for sanding tasks with medium grit (P80).
X-LOCK hard backing pads are ideal for coarse sanding tasks (grit P50 and coarser).

• X-LOCK soft backing pads: The flat surface is optimised for fine sanding tasks. The robust design of the backing pad makes it durable and extends the service life of the sanding discs. Highly temperature-resistant and break-resistant thanks to the backing pad made of reinforced, heat-resistant plastic.
• X-LOCK medium-hard backing pads: The rigid multi-groove design ensures maximum contact pressure between the disc and the workpiece for rapid work results. The ribs increase the contact pressure and allow a flow of cool air between the disc and backing pad. Highly temperature-resistant and break-resistant thanks to the backing pad made of reinforced, heat-resistant plastic.
• X-LOCK hard backing pads: A particularly rigid multi-groove design ensures maximum contact pressure between the disc and the workpiece for heavy-duty and highly aggressive sanding work. The angled surface of the disc ensures an ergonomic position when sanding, for comfortable working. Highly temperature-resistant and break-resistant thanks to the backing pad made of fibreglass-reinforced, heat-resistant plastic.
